Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday have arrested two gamblers in Batsuna village of North Kashmir’s Sopore.
As per police spokesperson, “Based on a specific input, a gambling site in the orchards of village Batsuma was raided by a team of Police Station Dangiwacha, and arrested two gamblers.”
“They have been identified as Irshad Ahmad Shah S/O Muhammad Yousuf Shah and Javaid Ahmad Shah S/O Abdul Razak Shah both the residents of Batsuma Rafiabad”, he added.
“Stake money Rs 15000, playing cards and a mobile phone were recovered from the gambling site.site”
Adding to it, he said that in this regard case FIR No. 67/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Dangiwacha.
