Ganderbal, Jan 18: As part of the National Road Safety Month 2025, a traffic awareness program wasconducted on Saturday at Kangan and Ganderbal markets. The initiative aimed to educate students, drivers, and passengers about the importance of adhering to traffic rules and incorporating road safety practices into daily life.
Led by DSP Traffic Rural Ganderbal, the event focused on raising awareness about critical traffic regulations, road safety features, and the consequences of unsafe driving habits. Participants, including local residents and commuters, actively engaged in discussions on safe driving, the significance of wearing seat belts and helmets, and the dangers of over-speeding and distracted driving.
