Following the historic G20 Summit in Jammu and Kashmir, Tarun Chugh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary, declared the region as India’s new tourism capital, hailing the event as a resounding victory for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a progressive Jammu and Kashmir.

Chugh expressed his pride in witnessing the successful execution of the summit and its profound impact on the state’s tourism sector.

Chugh said that the choice of Jammu and Kashmir as the venue for the G20 Summit was a testament to the region’s immense potential and the government’s commitment to transforming it into a thriving tourism hub. He credited Prime Minister Modi’s slogan of “progressive Jammu Kashmir” for laying the foundation of this monumental achievement.

Chugh highlighted the exceptional arrangements made by the Jammu and Kashmir administration, led by LG Manoj Sinha, which ensured a seamless and memorable experience for the global delegates attending the summit.

He commended the UT government for their dedication and vision in showcasing Jammu and Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes to an international audience.

The BJP national general secretary underscored the significance of the G20 Summit in elevating Jammu and Kashmir’s status as the tourism capital of India.

He expressed confidence that the event’s success would attract a surge of domestic and international tourists, bolstering the local economy and creating countless job opportunities for the region’s residents.

Chugh emphasized the government’s commitment to sustainable tourism practices and its focus on preserving the natural beauty of Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted the importance of responsible tourism, ensuring that the state’s fragile ecosystems and cultural heritage are safeguarded for future generations.(KNS).
