Srinagar, Sept 19: Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Mohamad Yousuf Tarigami on Thursday expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Mohammad Shafi Pandit, the first Muslim (IAS) officer from Kashmir who breathed his last on Wednesday.
“Late Pandit held various important assignments during his illustrious career. He headed the JK Public Service Commission,” Tarigami said in a statement. He expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
