Tanvir thanks authorities for successful Muharram observance

Srinagar, Jul 07:  National Conference (NC) chief spokesperson and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq on Monday extended his heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, the civil and police administration, and various government departments for their coordinated efforts in ensuring the smooth and dignified observance of Muharram across the constituency.“I am deeply thankful to the Divisional Commissioner, IGP Kashmir, SSP Srinagar, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), City Roads Division, PHE, UEED, City Drainage, PDD, and all concerned departments whose dedication and planning helped facilitate a peaceful Muharram,” Sadiq said, according to a party statement issued here.The MLA lauded the role of countless volunteers and community members whose selfless service greatly contributed on the ground. “From the 1st of Muharram, the efforts have been visible across the constituency to provide maximum support and comfort to the Azadaars,” he added.Acknowledging that there were a few shortcomings, Sadiq reaffirmed his commitment to addressing them in the future. “We remain committed to learning from this experience and ensuring better planning and coordination in the coming year,” he said.
