Srinagar, Sept 11: National Conference (NC) Chief Spokesperson and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq, has been formally invited to participate in the Kerala Urban Conclave 2025 in Kochi, a flagship urban development conference organised by the Local Self Government Department (LSGD), Government of Kerala.
Scheduled to be held on September 12–13, 2025, at The Grand Hyatt, Kochi, the Conclave will bring together an esteemed gathering of policymakers, urban planners, elected representatives, researchers, international experts, and civil society leaders, the party said in a statement issued here.
A key highlight of the event will be the discussion on recommendations by the Kerala Urban Policy Commission, constituted in December 2023, which submitted its final report in March 2025, the statement said, adding that the conclave will also examine global and national best practices in urban governance, planning, climate resilience, and smart infrastructure.
The Kerala Urban Conclave 2025 is expected to host delegates from over 56 international cities and attract global academic and governmental institutions, exploring strategic partnerships that advance people-centred urban development.
