Samba, June 23: The OMR-based examination for the posts of Supervisor in the Social Welfare Department, conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), concluded smoothly on Sunday in Samba.
A total of 3,939 candidates appeared for the exam across 15 centers in the district.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the exams and to gain first-hand appraisal of the facilities available for the aspirants, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Samba, Abhishek Sharma, inspected various examination centers set up in the district.
Furthermore, restrictions under Section 144 Cr.P.C were imposed in and around the examination centers to maintain law and order for the smooth conduct of the JKSSB examination for the post of Supervisor in the Social Welfare Department.
The concerned officers informed that elaborate arrangements were made to ensure the seamless conduct of the examination across all centers.
District admin Udhampur conducts examination for supervisor post
Udhampur, June 23: The District Administration Udhampur successfully conducted an OMR-based written examination for the post of Supervisor in the Social Welfare Department.
The examination took place across 17 centers in the district under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai and able guidance of SSP Udhampur Joginder Singh.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Joginder Singh Jasrotia, who also served as the Chief Inspector of Examinations, inspected the centers to ensure the smooth conduct of the JKSSB OMR-based written test. Observers and Duty Magistrates were deployed at all centers to assist the Centre Superintendents in managing the examination process effectively.
Out of 5662 registered candidates, 4197 participated in the test while 1495 candidates were absent.
The successful conduct of the examination was made possible through the active cooperation and support of various departments, including Police, Education, Health and other related departments. Additionally, private schools and colleges extended their full cooperation in facilitating the examination.
JKSSB examination for supervisor post concludes smoothly in Poonch, Ramban
Poonch, June 23: The Service Selection Board Examination for recruitment of Supervisor Social Welfare Department concluded smoothly across all examination centers in District Poonch.
The District Administration Poonch headed by Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Yasin M. Choudhary earlier made elaborate arrangements for successful conduct of the said JKSSB Examination in the district.
Before start of Exam, Additional District Development Commissioner Poonch, Sandesh Kumar Sharma and Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Tahir Mustafa Malik visited all venues and inspected the overall arrangements in terms of control room, dispatch of examination material, Strong room, Security in and around examination centre etc. for smooth and transparent conduct of written examinations.
The Police headed by Sr. Superintended of Police, Yougal Manhas made fool proof security arrangements for all venues.
After the conclusion of the exam, it is informed that 4848 candidates were scheduled to appear in the examination out of which 3537 candidates appeared in all 15 venues.
The District Administration Ramban also has successfully conducted the OMR-based Supervisor Social Welfare Department (SWD) Exam, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB).
The examination held at five different centers in the district, ensuring a smooth and fair process.
A total of 1,000 candidates were enrolled for the exam, out of which 674 candidates appeared today at the designated examination centers including Government Model Higher Secondary School (GMHSS), Ramban; Government Degree College (GDC), Karol, Ramban; Kamal Academy, Chanderkote; Government High School (GHS), Chanderkote; and Government Polytechnic College, Chanderkote.
The seamless execution of the exam was made possible under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, with overall supervision provided by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Varunjeet Singh Charak.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized upon the importance of this exam as a critical step in addressing the staffing needs for the Supervisor position in the Social Welfare Department, facilitated by JKSSB.
