Srinagar, Aug 29:  Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic City Srinagar, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, has ordered a fact-finding inquiry after a video surfaced on social media showing a traffic cop allegedly slapping a civilian.Taking suo motu cognisance of the incident, SSP Ajaz Ahmad Bhat announced the probe in a post shared on social media. He stated that a fact-finding inquiry has been initiated to ascertain the circumstances that led to the incident.The video, which has gone viral across multiple platforms, shows a traffic policeman slapping a man during what appears to be an altercation. The incident has sparked widespread debate online, with netizens questioning the conduct of law enforcement personnel.Authorities said that appropriate action will be taken based on the findings of the inquiry.
