Srinagar Yogasana Sports Championship 2025–2026 Ends with Great Fervour, Passion

Srinagar, July 30: The 6th District Srinagar Yogasana Sports Championship 2025–2026 was successfully conducted at the Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex (SKISC), Srinagar from July 29 to July 30. The championship was organised by the District Srinagar Yogasana Sports Association, affiliated with the J&K Yogasana Sports Association and sponsored by the J&K Sports Council.A statement issued here said that the closing ceremony was held on July 30 with great enthusiasm and was graced by Maqsood Ahmad, Manager, SKISC, as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour included Shabir Ahmad Dar, Senior Yogasana Coach, J&K Sports Council Aadil Khan bollywood actor, Basit Nabi, Secretary, District Budgam Yogasana Sports Association, Altaf Ahmad Bhat, Member, JKYSA, and Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, President, District Srinagar Yogasana Sports Association. The Chief Guest distributed medals and trophies among the top performers of the championship, recognizing their dedication and performance in the field of Yogasana. In a proud moment, Tameem Tariq was declared the Best Male Player of the championship, while Hurrabah Ashai was named the Best Female Player, celebrating excellence and commitment in Yogasana sports. The District Srinagar Yogasana Sports Association extended heartfelt thanks to all officials, participants, and supporters for making the event a grand success and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Yogasana at the grassroots level.
