SKIMS Srinagar reconstitutes committee for inspection of drugs, surgical items

Srinagar, Feb 21: The Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar (Soura) has reconstituted the committee for the inspection of drugs and surgical items.
“In supersession of office order, sanction is hereby accorded to the reconstitution of committee for inspection of drugs and surgical items at SKIMS,” SKIMS said in an order.
The five-member committee would be headed by Dr Syed Mudasir Qadri, Additional Professor, Department of General Convenor Medicine, SKIMS as convener, Dr Abdul Waheed Mir, Additional Professor, Department of Critical Care, SKIMS as member, Dr Surjeet Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Clinical Pharmacology, SKIMS as member, Dr Gowhar Aziz Bhat, Assistant Professor, Department of General Surgery, SKIMS as member and faculty Incharge, Drug & Pharmacy, SKIMS as member and Officer Incharge, Drug & Pharmacy, SKIMS as member secretary.
The committee has been specifically tasked with inspecting the supplies of drugs and surgical items received from time to time, ensuring strict adherence to the specifications outlined in the relevant supply orders.
Additionally, the Committee is empowered to co-opt a member for expert advice and opinion whenever deemed necessary.
