Srinagar, Jan 16: In a commendable display of gratitude and solidarity, pensioners of the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) organized a spirited get-together with Director Bakshi Humayun Javid and his management team. The interactive session delved into crucial issues surrounding the welfare of pensioners and the institution as a whole.
Amidst expressions of appreciation, the pensioners hailed Director Bakshi Humayun Javid for his instrumental role in repositioning SKICC on the global stage. The Director, who was felicitated with a garland as a token of admiration, received accolades for successfully hosting prestigious events, including the G20 summit, which garnered international acclaim.
Ab Majeed, the senior-most pensioner, took the opportunity to extend heartfelt congratulations to Director Javid, acknowledging the pivotal role played by the pensioners in the success of SKICC. Director Javid, in turn, credited the achievements to the collective efforts of the entire SKICC team, highlighting the pensioners as the fundamental pillars of the institution.
Other notable speakers at the event included GM SKICC Qazir Aftab, Manager Operations Shahnawaz A Shah, Sheena Wani, and Fayaz Pundit. The interactive session provided a platform for open dialogue, reinforcing the sense of community within SKICC and emphasizing the collaborative spirit that has contributed to the institution’s stature on the global stage.
