Srinagar, Aug 24 : In view of severe weather conditions, the Directorate of School Education Jammu on Sunday announced the closure of all government and private schools across the Jammu division on Monday, August 25.
An official from the Directorate stated, “Due to inclement weather and as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students, all government and private schools in Jammu division shall remain closed on Monday.”
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has postponed the Class 10th and 11th examinations scheduled for August 25 across Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (JKUT) as well as the Union Territory of Ladakh.
“In view of severe inclement weather, the JKBOSE Class 10th and 11th exams scheduled for August 25 stand postponed across JKUT and Ladakh,” an official from JKBOSE told Rising Kashmir.The official added that new dates for the postponed examinations will be announced in due course.
