Srinagar, Apr 29: In view of continuous rainfall, the divisional administration in Kashmir has opted to keep schools closed across the region on Tuesday as a precautionary measure.
Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, affirmed that the decision was made after a comprehensive assessment. “There is no need to panic, and this decision has been taken solely as a precautionary measure,” Bidhuri reassured.
Additionally, the University of Kashmir has announced the postponement of all examinations scheduled for Tuesday.
In addition to the school closures, the University of Kashmir has also postponed all examinations scheduled for Tuesday. An official notice from the Assistant Controller of Examinations (Conduct) at the University of Kashmir confirmed the postponement, stating that fresh dates for the exams would be issued soon.
