Srinagar, Nov 02: The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in Jammu and Kashmir has successfully concluded the District Level Competitions (DLC) for the “Toycathon 2024” initiative across all 20 districts, emphasizing the theme of “Promotion of Innovative Ideas and Revival of Local Heritage.”
An official from JK-SCERT told Rising Kashmir that the district-level competitions for the Toycathon 2024 initiative have been fully executed in each of the 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir, with participation from 3,000 students.
“Throughout the district-level competitions, the District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) have organized the Toycathon 2024 events in every district of Jammu and Kashmir,” the official said.
He further explained that Toycathon 2024 aims to foster student engagement across three categories: Category I for grades 6 to 8, Category II for grades 9 to 10, and Category III for grades 11 to 12.
“In each category, the top students have been selected to advance to the grand finale competitions, resulting in a total of 180 students from across Jammu and Kashmir qualifying for this final event.” official added.
