Ganderbal, Aug 24: The internal road connecting ZirPora Kulan to Rezan in the Gund tehsil of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district has fallen into severe disrepair, causing significant challenges for daily commuters. Local residents have raised concerns about the condition of the road, which they say has become nearly impassable due to the presence of deep potholes along the route.
A delegation of residents from the area expressed their frustration over the lack of maintenance, stating that the deteriorated condition of the road is causing immense difficulties not only for pedestrians but also for vehicles. “The road is full of large potholes, making travel extremely difficult and unsafe. We are facing constant hardships while commuting, and it is high time the authorities took action to address this issue,” they said.
The residents have called on the local authorities to take immediate steps to repair the road, emphasizing the urgency of the situation. They added that if the road is not repaired soon, the difficulties faced by the community will only worsen, potentially leading to accidents and further inconvenience.
