Jammu, Jan 17: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member Raman Suri has expressed condolence over the demise of Chanchal Gupta, mother of Working President Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) J&K, Rajesh Gupta. He prayed for peace to the departed soul.
In a statement issued here, Raman Suri said that Chanchal Gupta was a great philanthropist, who used to help the needy and the underprivileged in every possible manner. In her death, society has lost a great woman, whose life will remain an inspiration to many, he said.
The BJP J&K Executive member, in his message, prayed for peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family, which, according to him, has suffered an irreparable loss.
He also expressed his sympathies with her husband, Muni Lal Gupta, and prayed for courage to bear this personal loss. “Though Smt. Gupta had not been well for some time, but she was recovering. It was only on January 16 that she breathed her last in Jammu and left a void in society as well as in the hearts of people,” Suri said.
