Chief Minister assures appropriate consideration of issues

Srinagar, May 08: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday met several public representatives, various deputations, and individuals at his Public Services & Outreach Office Raabita here, discussing a range of public welfare and developmental issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir.

MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq called on the Chief Minister and discussed issues related to parks and gardens in his constituency. MLA Banihal Sajad Shaheen also raised several issues of public importance concerning his constituency. Former Minister Javid Mustafa Mir separately called on the Chief Minister.

Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam met the Chief Minister and discussed various social and public issues. Educationist G.N. Var met the Chief Minister and expressed gratitude over the passing of the J&K Private Universities Bill while also apprising him of several issues related to the education sector.

Several deputations and individuals from different areas of the Kashmir valley also called on the Chief Minister and apprised him of various public issues and grievances.

The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to all visiting delegations and individuals and assured appropriate consideration of the issues and matters presented before him.
