In order to express solidarity and perceive the well-being of the families of police martyrs, Police visits families of police martyrs in Baramulla, Budgam, Shopian & Pulwama and distributed gift items, sweets as a heartfelt gesture of solidarity and compassion.

 A Police spokesperson said, “Officers from various police establishments visited the families of police martyrs during the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Azha. The purpose of these visits was to express unwavering support, understand the well-being of the families and pay tribute to the courageous sacrifices made by their loved ones in the pursuit of peace and the integrity of the nation.”

“As a mark of respect and appreciation, Police distributed gift items and sweets to the families of the police martyrs, symbolizing the bond of shared sacrifice and solidarity. The thoughtful gesture aimed to bring moments of joy and warmth to these extraordinary families during the festive occasion.”

He said that during their interactions, the visiting officers conveyed their deep admiration for the supreme sacrifices made by the martyrs and encouraged the families to consider the police department as an extended family. They assured them of continuous support, urging them to reach out whenever they require assistance or face any challenges. The officers emphasized that the entire police department stands united in their commitment to provide unwavering support to the martyrs’ families.

Police reaffirms its unwavering dedication to upholding the values and principles cherished by the martyrs. Their sacrifices serve as a reminder of the indomitable spirit and unwavering resolve to preserve peace and security within the community. The department’s commitment to honoring their memory and caring for their families remains steadfast.
