Srinagar, June 10: Jammu and Kashmir Police including SOG carried out searches in the house of an active terrorist of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) in Kishtwar district, officials said on Saturday.
SSP Kishtwar Khalil Ahmad Poswal said that after obtaining a house search warrant from NIA court, Jammu, a search was carried out in the residential house of an active terrorist of HM outfit namely Muddasir Ahmed R/o Tander Dachhan.
“During the course of the search, the evidence seized shall be investigated so as to subject the accused persons to judicial determination for his involvement in anti-national activities and perpetuation of terrorism,” he said.
SSP Kishtwar said searches were conducted after obtaining a house search warrant from NIA court Jammu in case FIR No 01/2022 U/Sec.13/18/19/20/39/UAPA, 7/25 I. act, 4/5 Explosive Substance Act registered at PS Dachhan.
He further disclosed that all the supporters or associates of terrorists who are found involved during the investigation shall also be prosecuted.
SSP Kishtwar Poswal appealed to the general public that anyone having any information about the presence of ANEs can share the same on these numbers 9905154100 and 97972 86841. Informant shall be suitably rewarded and his identity shall be kept secret.
