Police conducts raids across Awantipora in connection with terror-related cases

Awantipora Police on Monday conducted raids at multiple locations linked to members of the banned organisations Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP), and Jammu and Kashmir People’s League.

A Police spokesperson said that they conducted raids/searches in the house of members / activists of banned organisations of Tehreek-e- Hurrayat , JKDFP and JK Peoples league in connection with investigation of case FIR No.2/2024 & 24/2024 Of Police Station Pampore and 03 /2024 of Police Station Awantipora. The raids were conducted on the basis of their involvement in terror related cases and the same was conducted in presence of concerned executive magistrates.

Police Awantipora remains committed to maintaining peace and security in the Police District, besides is aimed at to take strict /lawfull action against the miscreants involved in unlawful activities.

Such raids shall remain continue till the terrorism is eradicated from grass route level for creating peacefull atmosphere in Police District Awantipora.
