Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually participated in and addressed the second series of post-Budget webinar on employment.

PM Modi underscored the importance of investing in people, the economy, and innovation, describing these themes as central to India’s roadmap for becoming a developed nation.

“Investing in people, economy and innovation is a theme that defines the roadmap for a developed India. You can see its impact on a large scale in this year’s Budget. Therefore, this Budget has emerged as a blueprint for India’s future,” said PM Modi, emphasising that the Budget has given equal priority to infrastructure, industries, and human capital.

The Prime Minister highlighted that capacity building and talent nurturing play a crucial role as foundational elements for the country’s progress.

He added, “As much priority as we have given to infrastructure and industries in investment, we have also given the same priority to People, Economy and Innovation. Capacity building and talent nurturing do the job of laying the foundation stone for the progress of the country. Therefore, in the next phase of development, we need to invest more in these two areas”

During his address, PM Modi outlined the vision for investment in people, which stands on three pillars: education, skill, and healthcare.

He said, “The vision of investment in people stands on three pillars – education, skill and healthcare.

Today, you are seeing how India’s education system is going through a huge transformation after several decades. Big steps like National Education Policy, expansion of IITs, integration of technology into the education system, usage of full potential of AI, digitisation of textbooks, making study materials available in 22 Indian languages, several such efforts are underway.”

Meanwhile, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami recently inspected the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to Harsil.

Taking to X, Dhami, in a post, complimented Harshil’s beauty and also congratulated the Gangotri MLA Suresh Singh Chauhan.

“On reaching Harshil, Uttarkashi, full of natural beauty, heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to Honourable MLA from Gangotri Suresh Singh Chauhan ji, hard-working workers and the God-like people of the area for the warm welcome given to them,” the post read.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttarakhand on March 6. At around 9:30 AM, PM will perform pooja and darshan at the winter seat of Ganga in Mukhwa. At around 10:40 AM, he will flag off a trek and bike rally, and also address the gathering at a public function in Harsil. (ANI)
