PHDCCI-Kashmir hails LG admn for successful G20 Summit

Srinagar, May 26: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI)-Kashmir chairman A P Vicky Shaw has congratulated the Lieutenant Governor-led administration for the successful G-20 Tourism meeting in Srinagar. 
Vicky in a statement said this was a remarkable event that brought together an extraordinary gathering of people from different countries and backgrounds. “Today, we offer our sincere congratulations to the J&K UT administration lead by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Ji for the successful and exemplary execution of the G20 Working Group Meeting at Srinagar,” he said. 
He said PHDCCI would like to express its heartfelt congratulations to Junaid Azim Matoo-Mayor Srinagar, Raj Kumar Goel (IAS)- PS Home department, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri (IAS)-Div Com Kashmir, Dilbag Singh DGP J&K, Dr Abid Rasheed Shah (IAS)- Secretary Tourism, Ajaz Asad (IAS)-DC Srinagar, Athar Amir Khan (IAS)- SMC Commissioner, Mehmood Shah (JKAS) -Director H&H, Raja Yaqoob Farooq IRS- Director Tourism, Bakshi Javaid-Director SKICC, Mufti Fareed Secretary-RSGC, police and security forces, for conducting this incident-free and successful event. We are truly grateful for their hard work and commitment, which went above and beyond what was expected, he added. 
“The Chamber would also like to commend the efforts of the departments of tourism, handicrafts, information, police and CRPF for facilitating new benchmarks in the hospitality sector of J&K, thereby showcasing the state’s immense potential and diverse cultural heritage to the global audience,” Shaw said, adding, “Such events not only mark a sense of pride for the J&K UT  but also serve as a testament to the government’s visionary and innovative approach towards developing and promoting critical sectors like tourism and hospitality of J&K.” 
We also acknowledge the members of PHDCCI Kashmir and other trade and business fraternity for being present in the events to make tourism a success through G20. “Special thanks to print and electronic media for their great support,” he said. 
“As an organization committed to furthering the interests of businesses in the state, we pledge our continued support to the government in its endeavours towards fostering a vibrant and sustainable economy,” he added.
