Pedal Power: YSS Anantnag Rides Towards Fit Future

Srinagar, May 04: In an initiative to foster a culture of health, wellness, and fitness within the organisation and among the masses, the District Youth Services and Sports Office, Anantnag Sunday organised a grand Cycling Event that witnessed enthusiastic participation from all 12 Zones of district Anantnag at different locations of the district. The central theme was “Promoting a Culture of Health and Fitness”, the event saw huge participation from the field staff of the Department of Youth Services and Sports Anantnag, including a significant number of both male and female staff members, reflecting the department’s commitment to inclusivity and physical well-being.
The District Youth Services and Sports Officer commended the efforts of all the zones and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting a fit and active lifestyle, particularly in today’s fast-paced world. He further encouraged continued participation in fitness and sports activities across all departments and communities. The event concluded with words of appreciation for the concept of organisers and participants whose efforts ensured the event’s success. The Department remains committed to organising more such events that align with national objectives like Fit India Movement, thereby nurturing a strong culture of sports and fitness across Anantnag.
