PDD employee dies of electric shock in Budgam

Budgam, June 20: An employee from the Power Development Department (PDD) died on Tuesday after receiving an electric shock in the Nasrullapora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
An official from Police Station Budgam told Rising Kashmir that an employee from the PDD was repairing the HT line in the Nasrullapora area. After receiving an electric shock, he was been shifted to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
He identified the deceased as Ghulam Qadir Khan, 55, son of Mohammad Akbar Khan, a resident of Pathanpora, Budgam.
A case has been registered in police station Budgam, the official said.
