Srinagar, Mar 04: Scores of prominent socio-political activists, reflecting various ideological perspectives from Kulangam, Langate and Kalaroos, Kupwara convened to join Peoples Conference in a formal ceremony presided over by the party president Sajad Gani Lone, the PC said on Monday.
Welcoming the new members with warmth, the PC President called for upholding the foundational principles of the party and serve the people diligently within their respective spheres, the party said in a statement issued here.
“The undeniable surge of support emanating from every nook and cranny of Jammu and Kashmir highlights PC’s widespread acceptance as the authentic voice of the local populace. We have evolved into a formidable political force that genuinely reflects the aspirations of the general public,” he remarked.
Sajad also acknowledged the solemn responsibilities incumbent upon the party leadership and its members. “The party leadership and our dedicated cadres must intensify their efforts in expanding the public outreach initiatives. The expectations vested in our party by the people are substantial and it is imperative that we remain readily accessible and responsive to their needs at their beck and call,” he emphasized.
Articulating a poignant vision for dedicated and inclusive governance, Lone reaffirmed PC’s pledge to restore the former glory of Jammu and Kashmir. “From reviving tourism to fostering horticultural prosperity and nurturing the intellectual growth of the youth, our party leadership envisions a comprehensive agenda aimed at holistic economic and developmental rejuvenation of Jammu and Kashmir,” he stated.
“Moved by the impassioned speech of PC President, the newly inducted members rallied behind the party’s agenda with fervent enthusiasm and pledged their unwavering commitment to its principles,” the party said.
