Today, marks a significant achievement, as 437 recruits successfully completed 44 weeks of intense and comprehensive training at RTC Srinagar. The training program was designed to prepare these recruits for the demanding challenges they are likely to face in the line of duty.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Sh Rajesh Kumar, IPS, Additional Director General, J&K Zone, who was conducted by Brig Rohit Nautiyal, DIG, Principal and Sh V K Singh, Commandant, Chief Training Officer, RTC Srinagar.

The Recruits were trained in essential skills to counter insurgency, left-wing extremism, anti-terrorist operations and general public order. This included Battle Craft, Field Craft, Small Arms Firing and Jungle Survival, all of which is crucial for ensuring operational readiness in various domains of operational tasking.

In addition to the physical and operational training nuances, the recruits were also educated on Human Rights aspects, Law and Order and soft skills, to serve the citizens at large. This holistic approach ensures that our recruits are not only physically capable, but also well-versed in the legal and ethical dimensions of their duties.

This successful completion of the training is a testament to the resolve of the young recruits, to live up to the credo of the CRPF – ‘Seva aur Nishta’. We are confident, that these newly trained Constables will serve the CRPF and the Nation, as a Force multiplier, in all domains of National Service .
