Srinagar, Apr : The Director of School Education (DSE) in Jammu and Kashmir has established committees to investigate complaints against private schools in both the divisions of the Jammu and Kashmir.
In order to address the numerous complaints against private schools in Jammu and Kashmir, committees have been formed by the Director of School Education in both divisions. These committees consist of various officers who will be responsible for verifying the complaints that have been frequently reported from different sources, including social media platforms.
In the Kashmir division, the committees will be comprised of the Chief Education Officer, Cluster Head, and Zonal Educational Officer to investigate complaints against schools recognized by the School Education Department and affiliated with J&K BOSE.
For schools affiliated with CBSE in the Kashmir valley, the committees will include the Chief Education Officer, Deputy Chief Educational Officer, and one senior principal nominated by the CEO.
In the Jammu division, committees will be formed to investigate complaints against schools affiliated with J&K Board of School Education. These committees will consist of the Chief Education Officer, Deputy Chief Education Officer, and one principal nominated by the CEO.
For schools affiliated with the Central Board of School Education, the committees will include the Joint Director, Chief Education Officer, and two principals nominated by the Joint Director.
The committees will be responsible for monitoring private educational institutions and submitting reports or recommendations in accordance with the J&K School Education Act-2002 to the Directorate offices in both Jammu and Kashmir.
