Srinagar, September 11: Due to ongoing disruptions on NH-44 at Tharad, only one-way traffic for light motor vehicles (LMVs) is allowed from Jammu to Srinagar and Commuters are advised to follow traffic advisories, practice lane discipline, and avoid overtaking to prevent congestion.

J&K Traffic Police shared a post on X, “Traffic plying on Mughal Road/SSG Road/Sinthan road as per advisory. NH-44 has not been fully restored at Tharad. Because of this, only one way movement of LMVs from Jammu towards Srinagar has been allowed. Commuters are advised not to travel against advisory on NH-44; follow lane discipline; overtaking will cause congestion.”
