Srinagar, Oct 02: The National Sample Survey Office (NSSO), Field Operation Division (FOD), Regional office Srinagar is observing the vigilance Awareness Week from 30th October to 5th November.
The programme commenced with the pledge taking ceremony administered by Senior Statistical Officer, NSSO Srinagar, Arif Iqbal Bhat. In addition, the staff was encouraged to take online “integrity pledge” individually at cvcs website.
During the programme, an interactive discussion was held on the theme “Say no to corruption commit, to the Nation” through which speakers highlighted the importance of celebrating Vigilance Awareness Week. The participants stressed that every citizen should be vigilant and ensure the highest standards of honesty and integrity in in public life reaffirming their commitment towards the fight against corrupt practices.
