No traffic will be allowed on Jmu-Sgr highway on Saturday: Govt

No vehicular movement shall be allowed from either side on Jammu- Srinagar highway between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel from tomorrow morning till Sunday morning, Officials said on Thursday.

 

 

As per the communique issued by J&K Traffic Police, National Highway Authority of India has been directed by the Govt. to repair and maintenance works on NH-44 between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel. Because of this necessary repair work, traffic will remain suspended from Nashri towards NAVYUG Tunnel and vice versa from 0600 hrs on 24th February to 0600 hrs on 25th February 2023. 

 

 

“Moreover, similar dry days on NH-44 will also be observed on 3rd and 10th March 2023”, it said.

 

TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 24-02-2023

 

Keeping in view, the repair and maintenance on NH-44, tomorrow, no vehicular movement shall be allowed from either side on Jammu- Srinagar NHW between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel from 0600 hrs on 24th to 0600 hrs 25th February 2023.

 

SSG ROAD: –

 

SSG Road closed for vehicular movement as per Divisional Commissioner Ladakh UT’s order no. 75 dated 06-01-2023 in view of snow accumulation.

 

MUGHAL ROAD:-

 

Mughal Road closed for vehicular movement as per District Magistrate Shopian’s order endstt. no. DMS/PA/2023/1362-67 dated 05-01-2023 in view of snow accumulation.
