Acting tough against the elements involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, Police in Handwara have arrested 09 persons and seized 03 vehicles involved in the commission of crime.
As per the police spokesperson, “Officers from Police Station Kralgund have arrested 09 persons and seized 03 vehicles for their involvement in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals from Govt land at Sheikhnar and Khanu Babagund areas. They have been shifted to police station where they remain in custody.”
“Accordingly, cases vide FIR No’s 35/2022, 36/2022 and 39/2022 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Kralgund and investigation set into motion”, he said.
