MeT Predicts Rain, Snow in J&K's Higher Reaches till March 30

Srinagar, March 28: The MET Centre Srinagar has issued a weather advisory, predicting generally cloudy conditions with intermittent light to moderate rain/snow in higher reaches from March 28 evening to 30 night, accompanied by thunder and gusty winds (40-50 KMPH).

The weather is expected to remain cloudy on March 31 with brief spells of light rain/snow, and partly cloudy with isolated rain/snow from April 1-7.

A possibility of moderate snow over North and Central Kashmir's higher reaches, along with landslides at vulnerable places, has been warned. Farmers are advised to suspend farm operations on March 29-30, while travellers are urged to follow traffic advisories and plan accordingly.
