Srinagar, Aug 25: National Conference (NC) Provincial President Showkat Ahmad Mir on Monday chaired a meeting of party functionaries from Ganderbal.The meeting was attended by members of the parent body as well as representatives of the Youth National Conference (YNC), the party said in a statement issued here.Party’s Provincial Vice President and MLA Hazratbal Salman Ali Sagar, YNC Provincial President Mir Mushtaq, along with party leaders including Sheikh Gayas Ud Din, Ghulam Nabi Rather, YNC District President Usman Yaqoob, and the nine Block Presidents of the district were present on the occasion. The gathering witnessed serious and constructive deliberations on a variety of issues concerning both organisational matters and public concerns.In his address, Mir stressed the importance of sustained public engagement and emphasised the need for continuous communication between party cadres and the people on the ground. He lauded the Ganderbal unit for their dedication, discipline, and commitment towards strengthening the party’s presence at the grassroots level.Leaders present reaffirmed the party’s resolve to represent public aspirations and concerns with renewed energy and unity, the statement said.
