Srinagar, September 10: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar today issued a weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir, indicating generally fair weather with brief spells of light rain at isolated places from September 10-12.
However, a shift in weather pattern is expected from September 13, with cloudy skies and light to moderate rain/thundershowers predicted across many areas, including heavy rain over Kathua district of Jammu Division.
MeT also Predicted Generally cloudy with possibility of rain/thundershower at few places from September 14-15.
The region may experience another spell of rain/thundershowers from September 16-17, with scattered to many places likely to be affected.
In light of the forecast, authorities have issued advisories warning of possible landslides and shooting stones at vulnerable places. Farmers are also advised to harvest paddy and complete other farm operations by the evening of September 12.
