Jammu, June 02: A delegation of National Conference (NC) Central Zone (Jammu, Samba & Kathua) led by former minister Babu Rampaul met party general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar and discussed with him the current political scenario and activities being conducted at the ground level.
Rampaul, who is president of Central Zone, apprised the party general secretary of the political feedback generated from the ground level. He told him about the various activities conducted by the party activists at different levels.
“Sagar appreciated the Central Zone for aggressively pursuing the issues related to the general public in their respective areas. He advised the cadre to gear up for upcoming local body polls and aware the masses of the good work done by the successive NC governments in Jammu and Kashmir,” a party statement issued here said.
Sagar added, “The misrule of the last seven years has caused great miseries and hardships to the people of J&K. They have suffered a lot during this period and now pinning high hopes on National Conference. People want the NC government back in J&K to mitigate their sufferings that’s why it is necessary to ensure that more and more people should be approached by the activists of NC before the conduct of polls.”
