Srinagar, May 25 : Lal Chowk Ghanta Ghar, the iconic clock tower in the heart of Srinagar, has become a significant draw for tourists flocking to Kashmir.
Visitors from across India are escaping the sweltering heat of their home states to experience the cooler climate and breathtaking beauty of the region, often described as “paradise on earth.”
Tourists are particularly enchanted by Lal Chowk, where they gather to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. One tourist from Gujarat shared with Rising Kashmir, “We enjoyed the evening at Lal Chowk in front of the Ghanta Ghar. The ambiance was mesmerizing.”
In addition to Lal Chowk, visitors are also drawn to the serene waters of Dal Lake. “We visited Dal Lake for a beautiful evening,” the tourist added, highlighting the lake’s charm and tranquility.
Another tourist from Uttar Pradesh expressed a sense of awe, saying, “Being here feels like being in a foreign country.” The combination of beauty and cultural richness in Srinagar has left a lasting impression on visitors.
Lal Chowk Ghanta Ghar, now a bustling hub, offers a unique and picturesque view, adding to the allure of the city for both locals and tourists alike.
