Srinagar, Sept 10: The Centre for Career Counselling, Coaching and Placement (CCCP), University of Kashmir (KU), Wednesday organised an orientation programme for its new aspirants of the CRISP-2025 batch in collaboration with O2 IAS Academy, Chandigarh, on ‘Strategies for Effective CSE Preparation’ at the Main Campus.

As per a statement issued here, Vice Chancellor, KU, Prof. Nilofer Khan, in her message, while congratulating the new batch of aspirants said, “The University is committed to extending every possible academic and institutional support to civil services aspirants. Such programmes are designed to guide our youth with the right strategies, motivation, and mentorship so they can excel in highly competitive examinations and contribute meaningfully to society.” Dean Research, KU, Prof. Mohammad Sultan Bhat, while addressing the aspirants, emphasized that civil services provide a platform to shape governance and social development, urging aspirants to pursue preparation with consistency and discipline. Adam Mohiuddin, Indian Postal Service Officer (IPoS), who qualified the CSE in 2021, delivered an insightful talk. He emphasized that honest hard work is the key to success and added that failures in examinations should not be seen as setbacks but studied scientifically to identify mistakes, refine strategies and ensure future success.  Kuldeep Singh, Academic Head, O2 IAS Academy, shared the technical aspects of civil services preparation, including time management, syllabus prioritisation, and answer writing strategies, urging aspirants to adopt a disciplined and structured approach. Earlier, in his welcome address, Prof. Nazir Ahmad Dar, Director, CCCP KU, said that the Centre is providing every possible support to aspirants through mentorship, coaching, and collaborative initiatives with reputed academies so that candidates can compete successfully at the national level. An interactive question–answer session was also held, where aspirants engaged with the expert on exam strategies, study material, and stress management. The Civil Services Residential Integrated Support Program (CRISP) is a free-of-cost initiative of the University of Kashmir aimed at providing residential coaching, guidance, and mentorship to aspiring civil services candidates.
