Kulgam Encounter :Four Militants Killed, Operation Continues

Four unidentified militants have been killed in an ongoing gunfight in Chinnigam area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.

A top police officer told that in the ongoing gunbattle four militants have been killed. However their identification can be only ascertained once operation is over. Meanwhile Intense firing still going on at encounter site.

Earlier, gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Chinnigam area after a specific input was recieved by the security forces.

In another gunfight which took place in Mudergham area of Kulgam, one army soldier was killed in intial exchange of fire. So far no information has been recieved about any militant death in the gunfight. (GNS)
