KU sets Aug 31 as deadline for remaining admissions

Srinagar, Aug 24: The University of Kashmir (KU) announced on Sunday that the admission process for all remaining seats will officially close on August 31, saying no further extensions will be granted beyond this date.Speaking to Rising Kashmir, Director of Admissions and Competitive Examinations, KU, Dr Fayaz Ahmad, confirmed the final deadline for admissions.“We are committed to completing the admission process for the remaining seats before August 31. Students are advised to finalise their admissions into their respective programs by the specified date,” he said.Dr Fayaz added that classes for students who have already completed their admission formalities will commence from August 25. “We have provided students with ample time to complete their admission procedures. Those who fail to do so by the deadline will not be given any further extension,” he said.The Director urged the students who have yet to complete their admissions to act immediately to secure their enrollment before the deadline.
