KU condoles demise of employee, holds condolence meet

Srinagar, Jan 12: The University of Kashmir on Thursday condoled the demise of Mohammad Shafi, a driver who was working in the varsity’s Transport Section.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Nilofer Khan, who is out of station, conveyed her condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Officiating Vice-Chancellor Prof Nazir Ahmed also expressed his condolences with the bereaved family.
A condolence meeting was held where prayers were offered for the departed soul.
Dean Academic Affairs, Deans of Faculties, Registrar, Officers of the Registry, members of teaching and non-teaching staff attended the condolence meet and expressed their solidarity with the bereaved family. The members described Mr Shafi as a dedicated employee of the University family.
