Srinagar, Aug 29: Khwajah Farooq Renzushah, Chairman of the Kashmir Development Front (KDF), Tehreek e Dawat Tasawuf, and Jamaat Aitqaad Hanafiya International, announced full electoral support for Abid Ansari in the Zadibal constituency on Thursday. Renzushah praised Ansari’s contributions to Kashmir’s development and his efforts to promote unity among Shia and Sunni communities during challenging times.
The KDF and associated groups have called on voters across all faiths to support Ansari, citing his family’s legacy in the development of Srinagar and his contributions during his tenure as a lawmaker. The recognition of Srinagar as a City of Cultural Heritage by UNESCO was highlighted as one of Ansari’s achievements, particularly for his role in promoting the heritage and arts of Srinagar’s Shahar-e-Khaas.
Renzushah urged voters in prominent areas such as Akhoon Sahib, Makhdoom Sahib, Sangeen Darwaza, Baghi Ali Mardan Khan, Zadibal, Hawal, Nowshera, Malik Sahib, and Soura to unite in support of Ansari, whose party has given him the mandate under the Apple symbol.
Present at the event were Rameez Masood, Youth President of KDF, General Secretary Abdul Rahman Shah, Publicity Secretary Adil Khan, Coordinator Javid Mir, and other prominent figures, all of whom expressed confidence in Ansari’s victory in the upcoming elections.
