Srinagar, Mar 23: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra, National Conference senior leader and MP Mian Altaf Ahmad and Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Sunday expressed deep sorrow over the tragic road accident at Gund in Ganderbal district, which claimed the lives of four tourists and left nineteen others injured.
Karra termed the incident as most unfortunate and tragic. He expressed deep shock over the loss of three tourists and one local driver. “I am extremely disappointed and shocked to learn about the incident which has devastated the family of slain persons,” he said. The J&K Congress Chief expressed heartfelt condolences to bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
In a statement, MP Mian Altaf Ahmad expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the injured ones. “Sad to know about the tragic road accident in Gund area of Kangan which claimed four human lives including three tourists and local cab driver besides many local passengers are injured. My heartfelt condolences to the grieving families, and my prayers for the eternal peace of the departed souls and the speedy recovery of the injured,” he said.
Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari in his condolence message termed the incident heartbreaking and extended his sympathies to the bereaved families. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and wished a swift recovery for the injured. “This tragedy is truly devastating. My thoughts and prayers are with the affected families. May the Almighty give strength to those who lost their loved ones and grant a full recovery to the injured,” he said.
