JKSSB examination for Constable Post conducted smoothly in Rajouri, Kishtwar

Rajouri, Dec 8: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) successfully conducted the OMR-based written examination for the post of Constable (Telecommunication) on Sunday across all designated centers in Rajouri district.
The examination process was closely monitored by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, and Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaurav Savarkar, ensuring a fair and transparent process.
A total of 12334 candidates had registered for the examination, which was conducted at 27 centers located in Rajouri and Nowshera towns. The centers were strategically selected to minimize inconvenience for the candidates and ensure smooth logistical arrangements.
Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, along with SSP Gaurav Savarkar, conducted random inspections at several examination centers to oversee the arrangements. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner commended the meticulous planning and expressed satisfaction with the robust measures implemented to facilitate the examination.
A comprehensive traffic management plan was also executed to prevent congestion near the examination venues.
To maintain the integrity of the examination, ADDC Rajouri, (General Observer), Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, ACR, Mohammad Jahangir Khan and Flying Squad teams, conducted surprise checks at various centers. Their efforts helped ensure strict adherence to guidelines and a disciplined examination environment.
The OMR based Objective type written test for the post of Constable (Telecommunication) conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board’s (JKSSB) was held on Sunday successfully in District Kishtwar.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Rajesh Kumar Shavan along with ADC Kishtwar Pawan Kotwal Representative from SSRB and other senior officers visited all the 12 designated examination centres within the Town and adjoining areas of the District to take stock of facilities and arrangements put in place for smooth and transparent conduct of written examinations.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner was apprised that all the SOPs were strictly adhered to, besides the Control rooms for every designated centre had been established for the ease of the aspirants and videography had also been ensured in all the Centres for the smooth and fair conduct of the examination.
Meanwhile, the DC also interacted with the aspirants and enquired from them about the facilities and arrangements made by the district administration. The aspirants expressed satisfaction and thanked district administration over the arrangements made for the convenience of the aspirants.
General Examination Observer/ADC Kishtwar Pawan Kotwal informed that as many as 4558 aspirants were scheduled to appear for the examination in the district, out of which 2077 appeared for today’s exam.
