Srinagar, April 01: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir, indicating a generally dry spell for the next few days with occasional snowfall in higher reaches.

According to the forecast, the next two days (April 1-2) are expected to be dry, followed by a generally cloudy sky with a possibility of light snow over higher reaches of North Kashmir and Sonamarg-Zojila axis on April 3.

The dry spell is expected to continue from April 4-7, with another possibility of light snow over higher reaches of North Kashmir and Sonamarg on April 8.

However, from April 9-10, the region can expect generally cloudy skies with light rain/snow at scattered places in Kashmir Division and isolated places in Jammu Division.

The Met Centre Srinagar has advised travelers, tourists, and transporters to follow admin/traffic advisories, while farmers are advised to continue their farm operations.
