J&K SENIOR SOFTBALL TEAM SELECTED

Srinagar, Feb 19: J&K Senior Softball team has been selected after Screening by the Screening Committee of Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council headed by Divisional Sports Officer Jammu Baljinder Pal Singh and other members of Screening Committee at New Indoor Sports Complex, M.A.Stadium, Jammu Wednesday.
J&K Softball Association under the observation of J&K Sports Council started 21 days Residential Coaching camp from January 30 to February 19 at J&K Sports Council facility at Football Ground, Government Gandhi Memorial Science College, Jammu. Padam Dev Singh has appointed as Overall team Incharge, Harvinder Singh appointed as J&K Men team Coach, Madan Mohan and Javeed Ahmad has been appointed as Coaches for J&K Women team while as Gulshan Begum has been appointed as Manager for J&K Women team.
Waseem Raja Khan General Secretary J&K Softball Association applauded the tremendous support by Nuzhat Gul, Secretary J&K Sports Council for providing extraordinary facilities to Athletes and Coaches during the Residential Coaching camp which will be definitely fruitful for modern skills and team combination. The 46th Edition of Senior National Softball Championship is scheduled to be held at Amravati, Maharashtra from February 22 to 26.
MEN’S TEAM:
Ajay Singh, Jasbir Singh, Ayush Jamwal, Anmol Singh, Sagar Chib, Pardeep Singh, Jaskaran Singh, Parshant Singh, Usman Bilal, Faizan Bashir, Ansh Goswami, Azan Ul Haq, Fazil Ahmad, Mohd Hussain, Sarbjeet Singh & Nadeem Hussain
WOMEN’S TEAM
Shaista Ali, Harleen Kour, Safura Altaf, Lavanya Jamwal, Muneera Hassan, Muskan Devi, Rahee Hilal, Rashi, Areesa, Afnan Fayaz, Shaheena, Shaista Nabi, Nusaiba, Misbah, Farhana and Nidhi The 46th Senior National Softball championship is being organized by Maharashtra Softball Association under the aegis of Softball Association of India. The J&K UT Senior team is participating in the championship under the banner of J&K Sports Council & J&K Softball Association and the team is being sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
