The Jammu and Kashmir administration has announced the portfolios to the newly appointed ministers under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
The order issued by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha under the rule 4 (2) of the Transaction of Business of the Government of Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir Rules , 2019.
The following allocations as per the order:
Mr. Surinder Kumar Choudhary (Deputy Chief Minister) will be responsible for Public Works (R&B) , Industries and Commerce, Mining, Labour & Employment, Development and Skill Development.
Sakina Masood Itoo will be incharge for Health and Medical Education, School Education, Higher Education and Social welfare.
Javaid Ahmed Rana will manage Jal Shakti, Forest , Ecology and Environment and Tribal Affairs.
Javid Ahmad Dar will handle Agricultural production, Rural development, panchayat Raj , Cooperative and Election matters.
Satish Sharma will be incharge of Food , Civil supplies and Consumer Affairs, Transport, Science and Technology, Information Technology, Youth Services and sports and ARI and Training.
