J&K Bank conducts customer meet in Jammu

Srinagar, Sep 11: As part of its program to strengthen customer engagement across the country, J&K Bank today organised a meeting of its customers at its Jammu Zonal Office from across the Jammu zone.

According to a statement issued here, Executive Director (ED) Sudhir Gupta chaired the meet in the presence of GM & Divisional Head (Jammu) Ashok Gupta, General Manager Rakesh Magotra, Zonal Head (Jammu) Anita Nehru, Cluster Heads Chandrika Parihar and Arjun Singh Rathore besides other senior officials of the Bank. The meeting provided an interactive platform to proactively connect with customers, understand their expectations, and address service-related concerns efficiently.

Speaking on the occasion, Executive Director Sudhir Gupta expressed solidarity with those affected by the recent floods. He said, “We express our deepest sympathies to all the victims of the floods and want to reiterate that J&K Bank has always stood with its customers in their good as well as bad times.”

Highlighting the Bank’s Rehabilitation Package-2025 for borrowers hit by the impact of Pahalgam terror incident and subsequent disturbances in J&K, he stated, “In line with the recently announced rehabilitation scheme, the Bank will extend all possible support to the customers impacted by the situation. Our teams will work closely with the genuinely affected borrowers to ensure that the benefits of the rehabilitation package are delivered with transparency and compassion.”

Further, ED emphasised, “Engaging with our customers regularly helps us understand their needs better and strengthens the trust that they place in us. We are fully dedicated to serving them with empathy, efficiency and commitment.”

On the occasion, ED Sudhir Gupta also assured businesses, especially MSMEs, of the Bank’s uninterrupted support. He said, “With our focus on MSMEs that form the vital pillar of our economy, I urge entrepreneurs to actively participate in the Government’s Mission YUVA and empower themselves towards financial self-sufficiency and contribute to the economic growth of the region. The Bank stands ready to walk alongside them at every step.”

GM & Divisional Head (Jammu), Ashok Gupta said, “At J&K Bank, customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. We extend our heartfelt solidarity with those impacted by the floods and assure them that the Bank will continue to stand by them with all possible support and services as they rebuild their lives.”

“These idea of these meetings is to provide a valuable forum to listen to your feedback and demonstrate the Bank’s willingness to address all your concerns besides incorporating your valuable, practical suggestions in its processes and products”, he said.

During the interaction, customers appreciated the Bank for always being there to support them, particularly its recent assistance during times of crisis.
