Awantipora, Aug 20: The Centre for Career Counselling and Placements and the Centre for Artificial Intelligence at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), in collaboration with the IEEE Quarter Tech Talk Table (QT3) Team, recently hosted the Special Edition 17.0 of the IEEE QT3 Series on the theme “Career Compass: Challenges, Paths and Prospects.”According to a statement issued here, the programme was held online and featured Prof. Bozenna Pasik Duncan (The University of Kansas, USA) and Dr. Prashant R. Nair (Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. From IUST, speakers included Dr. Kaisar Javeed (Dean, School of Engineering and Technology), Dr. Assif Assad (Coordinator, Centre for AI), Dr. Muzafar Rasool (Assistant Professor Centre for Artificial Intelligence) and Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Ganie (Head, Centre for Career Counselling & Placements).Industry professionals Muzammil Bichoo (SAP) and Huzaib Shafi (Cisco) shared practical insights on technology, innovation, and career opportunities. The program also included career talks, mock/live interviews, speed mentoring, and an internship drive. A group of eight students were also selected for internships in various fields.
