Inter school zonal level athletic meet held at Banihal

Ramban, May 27: An Inter School Zonal Level Athletic meet for under 14 and U 17 Boys was organized on Saturday by the Department of Youth Services & Sports (YSS) Ramban here in Government Boys Higher Secondary School Banihal.
The event was inaugurated by the Principal of GBHSS Banihal Abdul Rashid Giri and organized under the supervision of District Youth Service Sports Officer, Dharamveer Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal advised the participating students to maintain team spirit, cooperation and coordination while participating in the sports competitions. He said that the skills learned in  the sports activities also help in different phases of life, like in academics or future career
 ZPEO Ramban Bharat Singh and all PEMs, PETs, REKs and NYCs were also present on the occasion.
Zonal physical Education Officer Banihal. Mohammed Saidullah  encouraged the youth to actively participate in the upcoming sports events at various levels in order to remain fit and healthy.
more than 200 students drawn from all Private and government institutions of Zone Banihal participated in today’s event.
The pledge ‘Say No to Drugs’ was also administered to the participants under Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan.
