Induction prog for B.Tech students concludes at BGSBU

Jammu, Sept 15: The week-long B.Tech Induction Program 2024 at BGSB University concluded. Designed to ease the transition of new students into university life, the program featured a dynamic mix of activities aimed at fostering a strong foundation for academic and personal growth.
Throughout the week, students participated in various interactive sessions, including lectures by expert faculty and guest speakers on cutting-edge technologies, innovations in engineering, and the future of the tech industry. In addition to academic sessions, students engaged in numerous team-building activities, campus tours, and ice-breaking events.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Akbar Masood conveyed the appreciation on the successful completion of the Induction program. Dean Academics Dr. A A Shah and Registrar Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza (JKAS) also conveyed their appreciation.
A key highlight of the induction was a comprehensive orientation on BGSB University’s legacy, core values, and its commitment to producing world-class professionals. University leaders emphasized the importance of innovation, ethical leadership, and adapting to technological change in today’s fast-evolving world.
The program culminated with a motivational address by senior university faculty encouraging students to strive for excellence, stay curious, and take full advantage of the resources and opportunities available at BGSB University.
The successful completion of the induction program marks the beginning of a promising academic journey for the new batch of B.Tech students. The teachers present in the valedictory function were Dr. Vishal Puri, Mr. Khalil Ahmad, Mr. Rakesh Singh Sambyal, Dr. Manmeet Singh, Dr. Shafqat Nabi Mughal, Dr. Parvaiz Alam, Mr. Shahid ul Islam, and Mr. Yasir Arafat. At the end of the event Dr. Malik Mubasher Hassan (Convener of the program) presented the vote of thanks.
